The powerfull threesome beats ones more in Stolberg!!!

The pulse. Manifesting itself in beat and rhythm. Impulse that moves. Intensive motoric movements find there way through three bodies.In Heartbeat Carmen Casagrande and her three male dancers engage with the topic of „being moved." They are concerned with the heartbeat that leads a life of its own and see it as a parameter to emotional states. The beat -  actually the rhythmic beating of the heart - is the continues subject of the performance. From the polyphony of the lungs and heart, breathing and movement, a network of rhythm develops. A rhythm full of drive, continuity, strength and speed. The personalities of the performers come into the focus and with them the question of what determines us at heart. The piece interweaves movement and word, and researches the relationship between rhythm and the incessant beat of being.
